Alec Ounsworth has my favourite wail. This song was on his unofficial demos, back in the days when Clap Your Hands Say Yeah was still a hype in the blogosphere. It is one of my all-times favourites, just because it sounds so haunting. Many of the people that have heard this song, have pleaded to me to please turn it off though.
Anyway, Ounsworth also has a new album coming out under the name Clap Your Hands say Yeah, the band that made him famous for a while. (But then you should really listen to his solo stuff) He also has this very saxophone-infected project called Flashy Python, with member of dr. Dog, The Walkmen and Man Man.
